SkeemSaam:Get To Zenande Mfenyana And See Her

Zenande got her breakthrough role as Noluntu Memela on Generations in 2011. However, she was fired due to a strike that included over 10 other cast members. These cast members included the iconic Connie Ferguson, Sophie Ndaba, and her acting mom at the time, Nambitha Mpumlwana. This happened in 2014. The strike was due to long-running differences about the actors’ pay and contracts.

Her character on Generations was cunning and channelled low key Cruella Deville vibes. This is because she was the epitome of backstabbing and willing to do antyhing to get her way. However that is stark opposite to the church girl sweetheart she is in real life.

In 2015, she acted along with Menzi Ngubane on Ashes to Ashes as Reba Namane. This was followed by a main role for Igazi as Babalwa. The show was Ferguson Films’ production, run by Connie Ferguson and her husband. She also appeared briefly on MTV Shuga as Cynthia Vilakazi.

Still within Ferguson Films’ productions, she plays the main role of Goodness Mabuza on The Queen. She acts alongside Connie and her husband. Her role is a low key throwback to her days as Noluntu as the characters share similar traits. However she had to leave The Queen due to her pregnancy.

Her movie appearences include Liefling in 2010, Kampterrein in 2017 and even All About Love also in 2017.Besides her acting gigs, she was signed as the brand ambassador for Chelline. It is an online shopping site for hair products, accesories, clothing and much more. She is also the brand ambassador for Geisha. Her Geisha billboards are strewn across countries in Africa such as Kenya.

Zenande is an extremely sympathetic and passionate person. She lives to have an influence on others, especially kids. She visited Sandizile Primary School in Mpumalanga as part of her activities. She went there to give the underprivileged kids some shoes.
