Senzo’s real wife finishes building his house after 10 years

In a heartwarming development, Mandisa Meyiwa, the wife of the late Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, has completed the construction of the house Senzo had envisioned for their children before his tragic death in 2014.

Situated in the southern part of Durban, the face-brick house stands as a testament to Senzo’s dream of providing a warm and secure environment for his family, particularly his children. Senzo Meyiwa’s life was cut short in 2014 when he was fatally shot at the residence of his then-
girlfriend, Afro-pop musician Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg.

Senzo’s brother, Sifiso Meyiwa, shared insights into the family’s journey to fulfill Senzo’s dream. He expressed how a promise from a tycoon to complete the house went unfulfilled, leaving the property neglected for eight years and becoming a gathering spot for vagrants.

Surprising Twist: A Striking Resemblance Raises Eyebrows

Mzansi, upon first glimpses of the house, was taken aback as the person overseeing the construction bore a striking resemblance to the late Senzo Meyiwa. Shock swept through the community, with whispers circulating about Senzo’s unexpected return. However, upon closer inspection, it became clear that it was not Senzo Meyiwa but rather someone who shared an uncanny resemblance to the beloved late goalkeeper. The incident left many locals both astonished and amused by the unexpected resemblance that briefly stirred emotions in the community.

Sifiso recounted, “Today I am happy to announce that Senzo’s wife Mandisa will be occupying that house. She is the one who bought the material and completed it. I’m not sure how much she spent, but she spent a lot of money. My understanding is that she will be living in that house with Senzo’s kids.”

While the exact location remains undisclosed for safety reasons, Sifiso emphasized the family’s excitement about Mandisa fulfilling Senzo’s wishes. He added, “For safety reasons, I cannot disclose the exact location, all I can say is that we are all excited about this; she fulfilled my brother’s wishes. I hope Senzo is happy and smiling upon her.”

Reflecting on the broader context, Sifiso hinted at further developments related to the unresolved murder case. He stated, “Our eyes are now on the [murder] case, and we know the truth will come out. It can take years, but the real culprits will be revealed, and everyone will be shocked.”

Despite attempts to reach Mandisa for comment, she has not responded, leaving the public to marvel at the poignant achievement of completing Senzo Meyiwa’s dream home, a symbol of love and commitment to family.
