Not so little! DJ Arch Junior (11) shows off flashy new Polo

South Africa’s DJ Arch Junior – named the world’s youngest DJ – has purchased a top-of-the-range VW Polo GTI valued at half a million rands.

Years after becoming a social media sensation at the age of three, the Johannesburg-born entertainer is not so little anymore. He’s now a preteen and has a girlfriend, according to his social media account.

In 2015, the DJ – whose real name is Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane – made history by winning South Africa’s Got Talent, becoming the youngest contestant to ever win in the franchise.

BREAKING RECORDS
DJ Arch Junior first shot to fame as a three-year-old who won the talent show SA’s Got Talent. He would also compete in Britain’s Got Talent and World’s Got Talent, both in 2019.

In 2017, the five-year-old – who received a standing ovation from Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum – was recognised as the world’s youngest DJ.

“Since winning [South Africa’s Got Talent], the experience has been amazing. People are always happy to see me perform, and that makes me happy. I am more popular now, and I get to travel all over the world,”

Oratilwe told the Sunday Times.

Despite now playing at gigs around the world, DJ Arch Junior is treated like a “normal child” whose education “comes first”.

He continued: “I really enjoy going to school. My favourite subjects are mathematics and art. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and doing extramural activities. I don’t find juggling school and deejaying difficult as I do my school work during the week and mostly practise deejaying during weekends”
