The tragic death of DJ Peter “Mashata” Mabuse has left Mzansi in a state of deep sorrow and grief, with the emergence of a heart-wrenching video showcasing his final moments intensifying the sadness felt throughout the nation.


 

DJ Mashata, known as “Msindo” or “The Noisemaker,” was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning after performing at the All Black event in Soshanguve Block G. Returning from the event, he was ambushed by unidentified armed assailants near Soshanguve TUT, resulting in a hail of bullets being fired at the vehicle he was traveling in.

Tragically, DJ Mashata lost his life in the shooting incident, while another occupant fortunately survived and is currently receiving medical treatment. The police have launched a murder investigation into the fatal shooting, confirming the death of one victim and the injury of another.
