Nomachule “Norma” Mngoma (previously Gigaba) is reportedly head over heels in love with a well-known lawyer.
NORMA MNGOMA AND ALLEGED BOYFRIEND LIVING TOGETHER
According to sources who spoke to ZiMoja, the businesswoman – who was previously married to former Finance and Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba – is in a relationship with the ex-husband of a popular actress.
The lawyer in question reportedly remarried after his divorce from the actress but is currently going through yet another divorce.
“They are not hiding that they are in a relationship, they are always dining and wining at different restaurants in Joburg and were even seen feeding each other,” said one source.
According to the source, the fashion designer and her alleged new boyfriend started dating last year. Mngoma is reported to have left her ex-partner, who is also a lawyer and is going through a divorce, that same year.
Another source claimed that the IT specialist also dresses her new lover and designs his suits. On the other hand, he allegedly spoils her rotten.
NORMA MNGOMA RESPONDS
When contacted for a comment, Norma denied the rumours.
“Who told you that? Uyangiphaphela wena. I have never met that guy’s kids and he does not stay in Pretoria. When I go to Pretoria, I go there for personal reasons,
MESSY DIVORCE FROM GIGABA
Mngoma tied the knot with Gigaba in 2014 but had a messy split in 2020 which resulted in the businesswoman keying a Mercedes-Benz G-Class belonging to the politician’s friend after she accused him of cheating on her.
However, the cheating allegations were nothing new, as in 2016 IOL reported that Mngoma admitted Gigaba had an affair with fashion stylist, Buhle Mkhize. This came after the two women were embroiled in a nasty Instagram fight in October 2015.
In 2018, Gigaba was a victim of revenge porn when his sex tape went viral. At the time, IOL reported that the politician believed his fellow ANC members of parliament were assainating his character by leaking the video.
Norma and Gigaba’s messy divorce also extended into the Zondo commission, where she testified against the former husband in 2021, alleging that he worked with the Gupta family to capture the state.
