Tweeps surprised ‘AM in Royal AM stands for Andile Mpisane’

The TikToker also mocked the 22-year-old Royal AM chairman and footballer, Andile Mpisane, who named the football club after himself.

“Wealth wasn’t enough for Andile, he also wanted to become a professional footballer. The only problem, he wasn’t good at football.”

He adds that Mpisane wouldn’t take no for an answer and decided to buy his own professional team, Bloemfontein Celtic FC.

“He later named the team after himself, calling Royal Andile Mpisane FC,” says the TikToker,

Mgosi reported in September 2022 that Mpisane was previously mocked by soccer fans when his club played against Kaizer Chiefs at the Free State Stadium, as part of the Macufe Cup.

The publication added that he did not make much of an impact and was instead seen on camera running across the field as he desperately tried to make contact with the ball.

“As if that was not embarrassing enough. Mpisane was then caught on camera trying to perform a soccer trick, possibly in the hopes of impressing the crowd and his fellow teammates. Unfortunately, he fell flat on his butt, as he kicked and missed the ball! Woe!,” reported the publication.

Miss SA: Keaoleboga Nkashe eliminated on ‘Crown Chasers’

Top 12 finalist Keaoleboga Nkashe was eliminated on the final episode of Crown Chasers on Sunday 6 August leaving just seven finalists to compete in the Miss SA finale.

Miss SA finalist Keaoleboga Nkashe (27), from Itsoseng in the North West, became the final Miss South Africa finalist voted out of the pageant on Crown Chasers.

The fifth episode of Crown Chasers is titled Crusading for your Cause, was themed around the importance of giving back. The remaining finalists were taken to Phefeni High School where, alongside the Imbumba Foundation, they spoke about the importance of menstrual health and food security.

This comes after Ané Oosthuysen was eliminated on the previous episode of Crown Chasers.

Take a look at the Top 12…Nkashe, who describes herself as an inclusion activist passionate about the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community and the rights of children, describes her time on Crown Chasers as fun and challenging and says “it was a very big test and a lot of character development was done”.

“Although getting eliminated from Miss South Africa was a disappointment and not the outcome I had prayed for, I believe setbacks like this are opportunities for growth and learning. I really believe in the motto ‘rejection is oftentimes redirection’.

“I would definitely do it all over again and do it the exact same way because during the highs I learnt about my strengths while in my lows I saw potential for growth. I am so grateful for both these lessons.”
