Zikhona Sodlaka is a South African actress best known for her starring roles in television series such as Shooting Stars, Rhythm City, Soul City, Intsika and Montana. Sodlaka once got a nominated for the South African Film and Television Awards.She was born and bred in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Her date of birth is recorded as 07th of June 1985,she is currently at the age of 39 as of November 2024.

 

 

On her latest post on social media Zikhona left instagram in awe with her recent pictures looking amazing. The photos were uploaded with the following caption

” A lot of the times, we don’t want to tell the stories of the ones at the bottom. Of the ones less favourite. Of the ones easy to hate. It’s not easy to let go of the ego as an artist yet that’s what the job requires. That I leave myself out of it and jump into the roles less desires…. And let people feel the discomfort of seeing themselves….

What a painful experience it has been playing someone so judged. So damn imperfect and not shy about it.

Watching people call her names to my face has been a lifetime lesson I hope I never forget.

Yet I envy her, I envy how proud of herself she is. How she isn’t shy to play ALLLLLL her colours out loud. How deeeeeep she loves ☺️
