Nigerian singer Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, reportedly stated that he and Annie Idibia are getting divorced after 12 years of marriage.
2BABA REPORTEDLY STATES HE AND ANNIE ARE GETTING DIVORCED
It seems Annie Idibia and 2Baba, who’s relationship was under the limelight on Netflix reality series Young, Famous & African, are getting divorced. On the first season of Young, Famous & African, which released in 2022, Annie revealed that 2Baba has five other kids with two other women, but she had met him first. 2Baba and Annie have two daughters together.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, 2Baba allegedly stated that he and Annie have been separated for a while now and have filed for divorce. He allegedly went on to add that he will release a press release to tell his side of the story.
“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long… Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while now and have currently filed for divorce,” wrote 2Baba in a since-deleted post, according to The Whistler.
“I will grant a press release soon to say my story, not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all,” he reportedly continued.
However, further reports claim that 2Baba said that his Instagram was hacked.
ANNIE MACAULAY-IDIBIA REVEALS MISCARRIAGE
This comes after Annie revealed that she had miscarried a pair of twins on an episode of the third season of Young, Famous & African.
“The whole of last year, even in the group, I was not coming out enough. I was pregnant with twins but I had a miscarriage,” she said.
“I wish I had someone in this group to tell me I’m pregnant. I would be having a baby, and then we lost that. It was hard,” she continued.
“I was not even sure if I could even share this with any of my friends. It is only Innocent and my mom that knew about it,” she added.
