Ultimatum SA’s Lindile claps back: ‘Siza’s not going anywhere’

The Ultimatum SA contestant Lindile Nibe has clapped back at suggestions that his relationship with Sizakhele “Siza” Dhlamini is fake.

He’s also had to fight off criticism that he used the Netflix reality TV show to boost his acting and modelling career. If that wasn’t enough, the TV star was admonished by viewers for not defending his girlfriend against the attack of co-star Khanya Nqolase.

Lindile and Siza – who is a political analyst – were among six couples whose relationships were tested by a “marry me or move on” ultimatum.

‘THE ULTIMATUM SA’S LINDILE RESPONDS TO CRITICISM
In an Instagram Live over the weekend, Lindile claimed that The Ultimatum SA viewers had misjudged him.

Lindile—who had issued Siza an ultimatum—denied that he had used the show for “clout” or that his six-month relationship was “fake.”

He said: “People think: ‘He’s into acting and modelling; he wants a break in the industry. He wants to get exposure from this show’.

“Siza and I love each other so much. Three months into our relationship, I knew this woman was everything and more I could ask for. She’s the jackpot, I need to hold on to her, I can’t lose her”.

He added: “I want to show you that the lady is taken care of. She’s not going anywhere, and we are happy.”

During the IG Live, Lindile also denied claims that The Ultimatum SA was scripted or directed.

Lindile added that he had faced flack for not defending Siza against Khanya, who unashamedly verbally abused and bodyshamed her during one heated episode.

He said: “Was I supposed to stand up for something that happened a year ago?”

He added: “Siza handled herself very well. I don’t have a relationship or friendship with Khanya”.

WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP STATUS?
During The Ultimatum SA’s reunion episode, which aired last Friday, Lindile and Siza revealed that they were not only engaged but also planning their wedding for the end of this year.

“We’re keeping it cute and small. Siza is in charge of it”, he said during his Live.

While Siza did say yes to Lindile’s proposal, she admitted to still being nervous about the idea of marriage.

She said during the reunion special: “I think marriage really makes me nervous. I’m still nervous”.

However, she added: “It’s nice to have a man that is really sure of you. I made the right decision.”
