Publishers altered the photo by changing Atkinson’s face, misleadingly implying he is unwell.

The photo was initially published in 2020 among various articles by local British websites.

The details describe an elderly man who reportedly battled chronic illnesses and tragically passed away due to challenges accessing necessary medical treatments, reportedly denied by England’s National Health Service.

On the seventh of this month, Atkinson appeared in a video interview published by Sky Sport during the Formula 1 race, appearing healthy contrary to the portrayal in the edited image.
