Serious prayers pour in for hospitalized Doc Shebeleza! Victor Bogopane, popularly known as Doc Shebeleza, is fighting for his life in a Johannesburg private hospital.

The 51-year-old Kwaito icon’s family has confirmed his hospitalization and requested prayers from his fans and fellow South Africans.

The family spokesperson, Shakes Mavundla, issued a statement expressing gratitude for the support Doc Shebeleza has received over the years and urging the public to keep him in their prayers.

“Mzansi, please put our kwaito legend, businessman, and Amaha chairperson in your good, blessed prayers. He has always been committed to assisting the poorest of the poor in our beautiful country,” said Mavundla.

Doc Shebeleza is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is set to undergo an operation on Monday. The sudden decline in his health has left his family and fans in shock.

Mavundla described the kwaito star’s ill health as a complete surprise, as Doc Shebeleza had appeared healthy and was actively preparing for an upcoming event in Soweto.

“I’m shocked, as he was looking happy and healthy while planning for the Aboguluvala event. We are hopeful he will recover after the operation,” Mavundla shared.
