Sacha’s dad gets candid about ‘womanising, drug taking’ past

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s father, Nick Feinberg, has reflected on his relationship with his Springbok son, whose mother is advocate Makhosazana Mngomezulu.

The radio broadcaster and sports journalist has fathered the rugby star and his reality TV sibling, Nathan Mngomezulu.

SACHA’S DAD GETS CANDID ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS, PAST
Nick Feinberg – the son of the late Apartheid hero Barry Feinberg – was born in the UK whilst his family was in exile.

In the 1990s, he returned to South Africa, where he met Makhosazana Mngomezulu. In the years that followed, Sacha and Nathan were born.

Nick and Makhosazana split and the former is not married to wellness guru Candace Feinberg.

Speaking to Sowetan, Nick claimed that his relationship with Nathan and Sacha was “not a typical father-son relationship.”

He said: “We talk about everything which a father and son might not ordinarily discuss. The other thing, I’ve had quite a difficult background, which involves many things such as womanising, drug-taking, and criminal activity.

“My kids understand that and we hold nothing back in our relationship. We are almost like mates. We banter, and we talk deep things, and, most importantly, people look at us weird because I’m the old white guy and my sons are black, and we hug and kiss in public”.

He added: “We are very close and love each other.”

WHO IS SPRINGBOK’S MOTHER?
Sacha’s mother, Makhosazana Mngomezulu, is an advocate in the Cape Bar.

According to Stormers coach John Dobson, Makhosazana is now a cannabis farmer.

Like Sacha, his brother Nathan Mngomezulu is also a celebrity and is known for his appearances in the Netflix show Too Hot To Handle. He is now dating Perfect Match star Elys Hutchinson.

Nathan – also a model – has often praised his younger sibling on social media.
