The award-winning singer and producer had a string of DJs on rotation for Piano Hub’s official opening, including Oscar Mbo and DJ Maphorisa.

DINO NDLOVU

Also on the list of celebrities raking in millions from the nightlife is former Bafana Bafana star Dino Ndlovu.

Despite earning a lot from his big moves, bonuses, and salaries during his illustrious career, which spanned years, Dino Ndlovu invested heavily in several business ventures, including the entertainment industry.

According to reports, he reportedly owns two popular joints, one in his hometown and the other in Nelspruit.

In 2021, media reports said Dino Ndlovu bought Goodfellas Night Club. He confirmed the purchase barely a few months after opening Legacy Lifestyle Lounge in Nelspruit.

GOGO SKHOTHENI

The celebrated DJ is the latest South African celebrity to venture into the nightlife business with a new club.

The publication has since confirmed that she is a part owner of the new joint, Club Cavo, in Maboneng Precinct, downtown Johannesburg. However, Club Cavo will have its grand opening on 25 January.

She said about her new venture, “Maboneng has a certain vibe that people love, and it was just the most appealing place for me to socialise with my fans.”

OTHER BUSINESS VENTURES
However, several celebrities have also had their fair share of success away from the lucrative nightlife industry.

Amapiano sensation Lady Du has several saloons under her watch and has added more outlets against her big wins.

Award-winning actress Connie Ferguson is also a celebrated businesswoman. She is the co-owner of Ferguson Films, a production dubbed one of the best in the country.

Despite being among the most booked DJs, Shimza has also made thousands, if not millions, from his restaurant and logistics businesses.
