Legendary actor Rapulana Siphemo will return to SABC1 soapie’s Generations: The Legacy.

The talented actor Rapulana Seiphemo returns to Generations: The Legacy to portray the role of Tau Mogale.

The TVSA July teasers indicate that Tau may rekindle his romance with his baby mama, Ayanda (Samela Tyelbooi).

Wednesday 3 July: “Ayanda is shocked by who shows up on her doorstep.”

Friday 5 July 2024: “Two former lovers rekindle their flame.”

Wednesday 10 July: “Tau issues a subtle but pointed warning.”

The actor also appeared in April, when his character attended Mazwi Moroka’s (Musa Ngema) funeral. Tau returned with Karabo Moroka (played by Connie Ferguson).

The publication revealed that the pair (Karabo and Tau) were billed as guest stars for the previous storyline, which suggested they’ll just pop in.

“Word from the show is that “this is by no means the last or the least that we’ll see of them.”

Rapulana’s character was released from prison for a murder that was committed by his baby mama, Ayanda.

He took off again when Ayanda was in a relationship with actor Muzi Mthabela’s character, Nkosiyabo Cele.

Mthabela who portrayed the role of Nkosiyabo Cele exited the SABC1 soapie on 5 June.

He debuted on the SABC1 soapie on 6 December 2021 as Siphesihle Cele’s uncle, Nkosiyabo Cele.

The actor has bagged a role in My Brother’s Keeper as a brother to the villainous Mshengu, played by Lindani Nkosi.

The Generations: The Legacy star Rapulana Seiphemo returns after Muzi Mthabela, Ronnie Nyakale and Kope Makgae’s departures.

Kope Makgae left the show in March to join the cast of e.tv’s latest telenovela, Isiphetho: The Destiny as Mosa.

Legendary actor Ronnie Nyakale, who plays Cosmo Diale will be seen until 28 August 2024.

Actors Buntu Petse who played Nontle, Karabo Maseko who played Dr Luyolo, Rebaone Kgosimore who played Paul Moroka Jnr, and Zizipho Buti who played Tracy also left in 2023.

Sunday World also confirmed that the SABC 1 soapie and Morula Pictures bid farewell to actor Musa Ngema who played Mazwi Moroka.
