Last week, they made headlines after it was established that they were selling Zahara’s furniture and other valuables after being evicted from her house.Undoubtedly, the mega sale was a shocker to many. Confirmed reports have it that photos of Zahara’s furniture are circulating WhatsApp with price tags attached. On the other hand, the rumour mill has it that Zahara’s sisters also listed her awards for sale.

However, rumour mill has it that her sisters approached some of Zahara’s former clients and friends to buy some of her furniture before putting the rest on a mega sale. Barely a few days after being evicted, Zahara’s sisters are trending after being accused of vandalism. Reports have it that they vacated the house on Friday night.

However, confirmed reports have that they also left some of Zahara’s clothes scattered around the house. Close sources to the new owner have it that the sisters left Zahara’s Little Falls mansion in Roodepoort in an ugly state.

 

The late singer’s sisters are said to have vandalized her lush house, prompting the new owner to open a criminal case against Zahara’s sisters.

Reports allege that the sisters trashed the residence and stole a built-in stove. They also allegedly removed the ceiling, and a wooden double garage door broke the front gate and left a poo in the pool.

A close source confirmed the incident and revealed that the new owner is weighing options before pursuing legal action.

The agent told Sunday World, “They have caused damage that easily amounts to over R300 000. However, they stayed at this house rent-free for over six months. What kind of thanks is this? Who does this to someone else’s property?”

However, reports have it that Zahara’s sisters left the house during the day and later returned at night to leave a trail of distraction.

“It makes no sense what they did there. It just screams of anger and ungratefulness. The owner is within his rights to open a case and is currently weighing his options,” the agent said.

In 2017 she was cast in the Mzansi Magic prison drama series Lockdown, as tough ringleader Ma Z and in 2021 she landed a starring role as Thandiwe on Mzansi Magic new telenovela Diep City.

The 51-year-old actress better known as “Batista” to her learners at Turfloop High tells the publication she started acting training in 1986 in her hometown of Alexandra, a township north of Johannesburg.

She lost some gigs, worked in retail, and landed a role at age 23 on Dinnete Tsa Bophelo.

She also got an acting gig the same year, 2001 on SABC1’s soapie Generations, and later She bagged a role on e.tv’s canned soapie Rhythm City as Rose and later joined Skeem Saam in 2011 as the strict and focused principal.

She’s also appeared on The Coconuts, Mzee Wa Two Six, and Ga Re Dumele.

The Sibongile and The Dlaminis actress Luyanda Zwane took to her Instagram on Wednesday, 19 June to reveal why she left.

 

 
“Me when they said I’m full of myself and difficult when I didn’t go to the watch party. Meantime I was at the hospital watching the first episode with my grandmother who was dying of cancer.”

“Me when that one old actor told extras that I’m faking being sick on set. When I was on oxygen and could barely breathe.”

Zwane also concluded her Instagram story by asking viewers to stop asking why she is leaving the show.

“Stop asking me why I’m leaving the show, ya’ll don’t know what I went through”.

An insider revealed to Zimoja that the actress was allegedly “tough to work with, and people had to navigate around her.”

Zwane states that people will always talk and have opinions. She also does not recall a single time she was a drama queen.

“People will always have opinions on how they experience you. I have never heard anyone on any set complain about me being a drama queen,” she told Zimoja.

HER REPLACEMENT IN ‘SIBONGILE AND THE DLAMINIS’
Actress Nsikelelo Mthiyane has taken over the role of Sibongile Mbamo in season two of Sibongile and The Dlaminis.

Mthiyane reveals to Sunday World that she joined an agency at the beginning of 2024 and was called to be an extra on the show.

“At the beginning of the year, I joined an agency for extras and was called to be an extra on Sibongile & The Dlamini’s because Zwane had already left.”

The actress adds that she was then given a script to audition during her wardrobe check. She had no idea she was replacing Luyanda Zwane who resigned as Sibongile.

“It’s a surreal feeling because it is a replacement role, but I am grateful for the breakthrough because I finally get to do what I have always wanted to do,” says Mthiyane.

The 21-year-old adds that the Sibongile and Dlaminis cast members and production have been helpful in helping her get into character.

She didn’t think it would happen this way. She believes God has a way of placing you where you want to be in life.

“I too am excited to see how people are going to react when they finally see me on screen.”

rest in peace’: Vusi Nova speaks on Zahara’s furniture reportedly being sold by her sisters – Well-known South African singer Vusi Nova says he is heartbroken over the sale of the late singer Zahara’s belongings.

Sunday World recently reported that Zahara’s luxury furniture was being sold to the highest bidder. The family have allegedly been circulating pictures of her household items on WhatsApp with price tags.

 

 
Zahara’s best friend, Vusi Nova, told the publication he was part of the Loliwe hitmaker’s family and would continue to assist in whatever way he could.“It is untrue that the family is selling the furniture and awards, I mean who’ll buy those family treasures (awards) and how will they be sold? No, people must respect her and let her rest in peace,” he said.

“It’s difficult, but it’s what it is … with regards to the house, we tried to keep it but it was costly just to maintain it and so we just had to let it go. Our relationship day-to-day, I’m always there for them. I’ve been assisting them and will continue doing that.”

Zahara died at a private hospital in Johannesburg on December 11, 2023 after weeks in the intensive care unit. It’s understood a family member had been occupying the singer’s home in Little Falls, Roodepoort, since her death.The publication has reached out to Zahara’s sister Bandezwa Mkutukana-Febana for comment.
