Nigerians react to the newly crowned Miss South Africa 2024, following Chidinma Adetshina’s withdrawal from the pageant.

It’s been a thug of war between South Africans and Nigerians since Chidinma joined the competition as the young model is of Nigerian roots.


 

 

 

 
On Saturday night, Mia Le Roux won the Miss SA title, and was crowned by the previous winner, Natasha Joubert.

The news of Mia’s win took over the internet, and it gained the attention of international observers, especially Nigerians.

Mzansi was trolled and criticized for bullying a black skinned girl out of the competition.

These critics also questioned Mia’s win.

A tweep wrote, “With the uproar against Chidimma, they still lost to someone from the minority. Pathetic!”

“Despite all the xenophobic noise …. The organizers didn’t find one of them a worthy winner? …. They will remain slaves in their land,” another wrote.

However, South Africans are being crucified by Nigerians for bullying out a black contestant to crown a white lady as their queen.

Granmy-award-winning Nigerian musician, Burna Boy who has always been at loggerheads with South Africans also made his comment about the saga on Twitter.

“So after all that …” he tweeted, adding laughing emojis.
