Skeem Saam star’s sister calls out an H&M cashier for bad customer service

Millicent Mashile, a prominent media personality and actress, has found herself embroiled in a contentious social media backlash after sharing a video where she calls out an H&M cashier for providing subpar service. The incident occurred as Millicent was purchasing clothes for her twin sister, Innocent Sadiki, following the unfortunate fire that ravaged Inno’s mansion.

However, the public’s reaction to Millicent’s video has been met with a significant level of skepticism and criticism. Fans have accused the sisters of using the recent fire incident at Inno’s residence as a means to gain attention and boost their social media presence, a practice commonly referred to as “clout-chasing.”

Milly Mashile says, she received bad customer service from h&m when she was buying clothes for her twin sister, who have lost everything when her 3m house burned down in Fourways, Johannesburg yesterday.Social media users have questioned the relevance and appropriateness of Millicent’s complaint, expressing frustration and confusion over her expectations from the retail giant, H&M.

The Mashile-Sadiki duo have been the subject of intense social media scrutiny, with many Mzansi users feeling that the siblings have exploited the unfortunate incident for their own benefit.

The widespread perception is that the sisters are now leveraging the fire incident to maintain their public profile and stay relevant in the eyes of their followers, a move that has been deemed by many as an unethical and opportunistic approach to garnering attention.

Social media responds to Millicent Mashile’s video:
@_ShaunKeyz: “I just wanna know what H&M was supposed to do? 😭😭😭something is not make sure here”

@custy_kgadi: “why she didn’t go to the nearest shop if she feels like not welcomedthese self-proclaimed celebrities love drama, they need red carpet everywhere”

@KingDon_za: “This just keeps unveiling itself like its one episode of skeem saam😭”

Muvhango shuts down after 27 years-TVSADear beloved readers and Muvhango fans- TVSA
“Dear beloved readers and Muvhango fans… it pains us to bring you this news and in this sudden, extreme manner. As you may know, there have been no Muvhango teasers this month, a first in the history of TVSA.

We’ve been requesting them from the SABC but they haven’t been available and we’ve noticed that the show’s Twitter account didn’t Tweet for the whole of June.

Also the cast has been on break for ages – each time we’ve called to enquire about something – and yesterday TVSA member Sulaiman Isaacs posted that the latest season would be ending this week, a short season of only 130 episodes.
We’ve been trying to uncover what’s going on, asking both the SABC and the show’s production house Word of Mouth Pictures but there’s been no clarity until tonight, 2 July.

Word of Mouth spokesperson Thanduxolo Jindela tells TVSA that there are no teasers because the show has shut down.He tells us that the finale episode airs tonight.

Immediately and just like that. It’s heartbreaking for such a thing to happen to such a long-running legendary show!We feel your hurt if it’s going to impact on you.

As we told you earlier this year, the latest season of Generations was touch and go and things were resolved but clearly the behind-the-scenes negotiations for a new season of Muvhango have failed. We’ll keep you posted when we hear anything further.”- TVSA

Xitsonga drama to replace Muvhango following its cancellation.

Muvhango, the long-running SABC 2 soapie, has reached the end of its era, with the final episode airing last night. The show, which has been a staple on South African television for 27 years, now faces an uncertain future as the SABC has not yet secured new contracts with the production company.

According to sources, the SABC has not been satisfied with the direction of the Muvhango storyline, and the network has expressed concerns to the show’s creator, Duma Ndlovu.

The source claims th

at Ndlovu has always held the SABC “at ransom” due to his political connections, arguing that the Venda people needed a show that represented their culture on television. However, the SABC’s patience has reportedly worn thin, and they have decided to pull the plug on the soapie. The source further reveals that Ndlovu has shifted his focus to other projects, particularly those with Mzansi Magic, where he has been offered long-term contracts. This has led to a perceived loss of interest in Muvhango, and the SABC executives have decided to take action. Ndlovu’s new soapie, Modjadji: The Rain Queen, is set to debut on Mzansi Magic in the coming days, indicating his commitment to expanding his portfolio beyond Muvhango.

Interestingly, the SABC is reportedly in talks with the creators of the popular telenovela Giyani to potentially replace Muvhango in its time slot. The source suggests that Giyani, which is focused on the Tsonga-speaking community, would be a politically suitable replacement, as it would provide representation for the Limpopo province on the public broadcaster’s schedule, according to ZiMoja

As the Muvhango era comes to a close, the future of the show’s cast and crew remains uncertain. The production company, Word of Mouth PR, is said to be in discussions with the SABC to resolve the matter, but it remains to be seen whether the beloved soapie will find a new home or if its 27-year run has truly come to an end.

Everyone is left in the dark, no one knows what is happening exactly. I think there are just delays from the SABC side, or maybe they are thinking of canning it; I don’t know. They do not have any demands, so we don’t know what causes the hold up. We don’t have an episode for tomorrow [Wednesday]; maybe they will play replacement stuff or Muvhango repeats.

The future of the long-running South African soap opera “Muvhango” remains uncertain as the show’s producers continue negotiations with the SABC, the public broadcaster. While the cast is on a production break, the show’s publicist has stated that they are not giving up and that the discussions with the SABC are ongoing, despite the fact that the current season is nearing its end. Both parties have a mutual understanding of the value of the program, which has been a fixture on the SABC for many years.

However, the publicist’s statement also raised concerns about the show’s potential fate, acknowledging that it is one of the longest-lasting programs on the public broadcaster and expressing gratitude to the viewers for their support throughout the show’s run.
