Former Orlando Pirates star and wife expecting baby No. 4

Former Orlando Pirates star Linda Mntambo is making headlines after he announced on social media that he and his wife are expecting a baby.

The Sekhukhune star shared the news in an Instagram post, which has received thousands of comments and reactions since it was posted on the internet.

FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES STAR LINDA MNTAMBO AND WIFE EXPECTING AGAIN
Linda Mntambo is often trending whenever he posts, thanks to his huge social media following. However, the announcement comes barely a year after the two welcomed their third child.

In 2022, on the eve of his graduation from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), the star announced that he and his wife were expecting baby number three.

In 2023, he took to social media to announce that they had been blessed with a baby girl. However, after Linda Mntambo announced the two were expecting again, social media was abuzz.

He captioned the now-viral post, “Washo uDJ Khaled wathi another one. baby NKOSANA loading.”

No doubt the photoshoot idea left Mzansi impressed. The star tagged along his children, and everyone held a board bearing their birth order using the round format usually used in boxing.

Reality TV star and on-air host Somizi Mhlongo posted, “Poor round 3 was still walking to tell neighbours that I’m a LAST BORN, and before they even arrived, there was this photoshoot.”

Celebrated DJ and influencer Oscar Mbo gave Linda Mntambo’s photoshoot a stamp of approval. He posted, “Brilliant shoot. Very! Congratulations!”

Linda Mntambo’s former Orlando Pirates teammate Zakhele Lepesa posted, “Vele uqedile?”

The Sekhukhune star joins a host of footballers who have welcomed their bundle of joys in recent years, including former Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch.

In 2022, Lorch and Natasha Thahane welcomed their baby boy. Last year, their son turned a year old.

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Along with raising children, Linda Mntambo has a foundation that promotes the development of youth sports.

He joins a host of footballers who have invested back into the game with their foundations, which nurture promising talents from marginalised communities.
