SARS has applied for the execution application at the Pietermaritzburg High Court on May 9 to seize 13 luxury cars under a trust owned by Shauwn’s brother Melusi Sphelele Hugh Mkhize and her two nieces. Curator Jaco Venter was appointed to inspect Shauwn’s business premises for the Royal AM, owned by Shandi Trust, is in legal trouble due to an outstanding tax bill of nearly R38 million.

It was reported that SARS personnel arrived at Shauwn and Andile Mpisane’s home unannounced, but they were not around.

SARS officials also visited Shauwn’s mansion in Sandton, Johannesburg, to serve her with documents for the attachment of additional movable assets.

SARS officials and the curator simultaneously arrived at both properties in Durban and Johannesburg to serve the Royal AM owners with the necessary court documents.
