Lerato Nxumalo exits Scandal!
Lerato Nxumalo, an actress and content creator, will be saying goodbye to e.tv’s Scandal! Friday night of June 14, 2024.
Nxumalo informed her fans and following a few months ago that she was officially jobless. She revealed that she intended to pursue her career as content creator full-time. She did, however, imply that she might go back to acting.
Nxumalo, who portrayed Phakamile Mdletshe, Jojo Kubeka’s lover, will be moving on to explore other projects, Scandal! has confirmed. The character of Phakamile was introduced to the show when she was prostituting herself. She was trying to provide for her two siblings Mbuso and Nqobile. But that soon ended when she met Jojo Kubeka, and they both fell in love.Phakamile did not become a trophy girlfriend when she got into a relationship with Jojo. She still kept her independence by finding work at Uthuli Waste. This was so that she could continue to look after her siblings.Her natural instinct to be a carer was also the reason that ended her fairy tale relationship with Jojo. This happened when she tried to help Jojo get out of debt.
Nxumalo expressed: “Playing Phakamile has been such a beautiful experience. I enjoyed every single moment because I feel like I grew so much.
