Award-winning actor Wiseman Mncube took to social media to show off his footballing skills as he unboxed the Soweto giants’ this season’s kit.


 

Thanks to his huge following, the now-viral post has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it was posted on Instagram.

With an illustrious career spanning years, Wiseman Mncube has quickly become one of the most followed actors in South Africa and often trends whenever he posts.

On Instagram, he shared a video of himself receiving his Kaizer Chiefs kit for this season. He unboxed the gift and showed fans his ‘Kaizer Chiefs look.’

The star actor received a jersey, a complete tracksuit, a pair of socks, a cap and a small ball. After wearing his kit, Wiseman Mncube went on to show off his footballing skills.

The star actor pulled some sick skills. He confidently juggled the ball before signing off with a cover-page pose.

Against the post, fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood his comments section. Some praised him for his flair, while others trolled him for supporting Kaizer Chiefs.

Others jokingly lauded him as Kaizer Chiefs’ new star on the block because of his flair. In recent years, the club often trends because of its players’ flair.

Mfundo Vilakazi recently made headlines with their showboating skills.

With his recent post, he joins a host of actors who have publicly supported Kaizer Chiefs, including Skeem Saam actor Clement Maosa.

The celebrated actor and DJ supports Kaizer Chiefs and has worked with the club in recent years. He was part of the cast that participated in unveiling the 2024/2025 season jerseys.

After all, he has been winning big on small screens in recent years. Wiseman Mncube is best known for his on-screen character of Sbonelo on ‘Uzalo.’

He was part of the star-studded cast of South Africa’s most-watched drama series but left the show in 2023.

Against the news, the drama series confirmed his exit. Earlier this year, his last episode on ‘Uzalo’ was aired. He died a brutal death after being hanged by Njinji.

In 2016, Wiseman Mncube made his small-screen debut; the rest was history.
