EFF leader Julius Malema recently celebrated his 44th birthday with an intimate dinner surrounded by close friends and family.

A clip shared on social media captured moments from the celebration, where Malema and his loved ones enjoyed a heartfelt prayer before the evening’s festivities. Guests were also treated to a special DJ set by Malema and his son, Ratang.

Expressing his gratitude for the outpouring of birthday messages, Malema took to social media to thank his supporters.

“Thank you to the ground forces and Commissars of our glorious movement, @EFFSouthAfrica. To the people of South Africa, Africa, and the diaspora—I received your beautiful birthday messages, and I want to thank you for your kindness,” he wrote, also sharing that his family “means the world” to him.Earlier this week, Malema celebrated his birthday with party members by giving back to the community at Tembisa Child Welfare, where they donated R200,000.
During his address, Malema expressed his hope for the organisation’s growth, emphasising the importance of supporting vulnerable children.
