It appears that the influencer Okuhle Ncengwa and Sundowns player Zuko Mdunyelwa were on “baecation” together judging by their Instagram posts on Sunday 9 June.
Social media user @sanelenkosix shared photos and videos of the pair on X and said: “A look into Sundowns’ soccer player Umphathi Zu and his girlfriend Delicate Flower’s Cape Town baecation.”
Mdunyelwa uses the handle @Umphathi_2 on Instagram while Okuhle Ncengwa uses the handle @delicate_f.l.w.r.
Though the pair have not confirmed they are in a relationship, social media users are convinced they are dating, as they both shared posts of the same location.
WHO IS ZUKO MDUNYELWA?
The Citizen reports that Zuko Mdunyelwa joined Mamelodi Sundowns in December 2023.
Mdunyelwa, who plays as a right-back began his journey in professional football, featuring for Western Cape outfits Cape Town City FC and Cape Umoya FC before joining Chippa United in 2021.
“Mamelodi Sundowns has completed the signing of Zuko Mdunyelwa from Chippa United on a long-term deal.”
“The 24-year-old defender joins The Yellow Nation as the first mid-season addition of the window after undergoing medicals and agreeing contact terms with Mamelodi Sundowns,” wrote the club on their website.
“I feel very honoured to be invited or to be asked to join one of the best clubs in Africa,” said the defender.
“The guys were very welcoming, loving and caring. I believe 80 per cent of them were once in my shoes, where it was their first day here. They had fun, too, so they welcomed me with love and care.”
Far Posts reports that Mdunyelwa also expressed his desire to win two trophies with the club.
“I want to win the league, and I want to win the CAF Champions League,” he added.
