GUGU GUMEDE LOST 30KG IN 4 MONTHS.

Gugu Gumede has garnered a reputation for her exceptional talent in the entertainment industry. She is widely recognised for her memorable portrayal of Mamlambo on the popular show Uzalo. Just recently, the incredibly talented actress shared some insights into her remarkable weight-loss journey.

Social media was absolutely blown away when the star casually revealed that she managed to shed a whopping 30kg in just four months. And, of course, being the generous soul that she is, she decided to provide undeniable proof by sharing a jaw-dropping photo on her Instagram account. Needless to say, jaws dropped and minds were officially blown.

Nevertheless, Gugu playfully encouraged her fans and those intrigued to discover the complete story of her weight-loss journey on her YouTube channel.In the caption, she cleverly let slip that she underwent surgery to bid farewell to the unwanted fat.

Kudos to her impressive weight loss journey, despite the challenges of being a busy mother and constantly working on set. She certainly didn’t have it easy!

Gumede hails from the province of Natal. Her father went by the name Simon Hulumeni Gumede, while her mother was known as Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi. She honed her acting skills at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.

In 2013, Gumede made her triumphant return from the United States and effortlessly secured the role of Mandisa in Generations, a true gem among South Africa’s thriving television shows.

In 2015, Gumede landed the role of Mamlambo on Uzalo, the most popular TV show in South Africa.In 2018, she had the pleasure of hosting the 11th Crown Gospel Music Awards alongside a star-studded lineup including Somizi Mhlongo, Rebecca Malope, Clement Maosa, and other notable celebrities. And the rest, as they say, is now history.
