In a candid revelation, Kelly Khumalo has opened up about her struggles with her ex-boyfriend, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, and his relationship with their 10-year-old son, Christian. Speaking out on her reality TV show, “Life with Kelly Khumalo,” Kelly shared intimate details about her life, including her efforts to raise Christian alone with the support of her family.
Kelly Khumalo, a figure often scrutinized by the public, explained to DJ Sbu on Massiv Metro that she decided to be transparent about her reality. “I open up about a lot of things. Like the father [Jub Jub] of my son [Christian], who I have been quiet about for so long.” She expressed her frustration over Jub Jub’s lack of involvement in their son’s life. “He [Jub Jub] has not made an effort at all,” she said. “He doesn’t even want to fix things or to have a relationship with the child. He does not support the child; he doesn’t even know what school fees are and what sneakers cost.”
Kelly emphasized that while her experience with Jub Jub has been disappointing, she acknowledges that not all men are the same. She praised Senzo Meyiwa, the father of her daughter Thingo, for being a present and loving father until his untimely death. “While he [Jub Jub] is that person, Thingo’s father [Senzo Meyiwa] was a present father until the last day. He was even a father to my son,” she added.
