Chymusique sets the record straight on using dark powers for wealth
South African musician Chymamusique denies the allegation of joining a dark society to amass wealth for himself.
The music producer, real name is Collen Ntala Mmotla announced a free show he will host next Tuesday.
“So September 24 is a Tuesday, it’s a public holiday … I wanna host the biggest braai lunch! Who’s in? Free braai meal from 2pm to 4pm,” he wrote.
The tweet garnered mixed reactions as a Twitter user claimed the DJ is into dark magic, as he will be using the show to gain wealth.
“Not saying uthwele [to partake in an agreement with evil spirits to attain your hearts desires] or anything but this is one of the favourite things abantu abathwele like to do, after that nonke enidle [all of you who ate] that ‘free’ braaied meat you will see flames. Nothing for mahala [free] in this world,” reads the tweet.peaking to TshishaLIVE, Chymamusique dismissed the allegation; he confidently said he is not part of such socities.
“Nowadays every sign of progress towards success means there’s a special elite organisation enhancing your personality or career. They are all saying that but they are the first ones to purchase tickets towards my men’s conference,” he said.
“As for me, who really went through turbulent times which resulted in me taking time off from the industry, I host this men’s conference to unpack the challenges we face as men. A men’s conference is aimed at uniting men to discuss their struggles, mental health, relationships and fatherhood.”
“With regards to the braai, I’m hosting a ‘Chyma and friends’ lunch. It’s just like a men’s conference. We’ll be networking with other guys from different sectors in society — lawyers, doctors, taxi drivers, DJs, chartered accountants, footballers and many more —but being there for a great purpose, which we tend to shy away from, because society [tells] us men not to cry and not to open up about our daily struggles.”
