Musa Mthombeni & Liesl Laurie mark 3rd anniversary of their lobola

Popular Mzansi broadcaster, and doctor, Musa Mthombeni and his wife, Liesl Laurie are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of their traditional wedding.

 

 

 
Taking to Instagram this Wednesday, the couple announced the anniversary with throwback videos and photos of their traditional wedding shoot.Dr Musa wrote, “Today marks 3 years of traditional marriage. On this day, a traditional angel was born… On this day Liesl realized that the cows that she had been waiting for had actually been living a spectacular life. They were visiting the spa three times a week. They had medical aid and were seen by the vet to make sure that opportunistic infections do not touch them, and they ate grass that was grown in the Champagne region of France. To three years of “Aliliiiii” and “uMakoti ungowethu…”Liesl also shared a post to celebrate the anniversary and captioned the post with words of praise to her husband.

“The love of my life – Lobola day 2021 ❤️2 families becoming one. What a blessing. What a special day. Musa is 100% the man I prayed for,” she wrote.

Muvhango has not been cancelled, the show continues.

The cancellation of Muvhango in June 2024 left fans heartbroken, but a new announcement from SABC is giving them a reason to smile again. On July 5, 2024, SABC revealed that while the traditional format of the show would not continue, the Muvhango legacy would live on in innovative new ways.

Funeral service of Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala

The funeral service of South African football legend Stanley “Screamer” Tshabalala is currently underway at Grace Bible Church in Pimville, Soweto.

The procession will depart from Grace Bible Church to Westpark Cemetery, where the burial service will be held. After the burial, the procession will return to Grace Bible Church for refreshments.

 

 

 

 

 
Stanley Tshabalala passed away last Thursday in the hospital. He was shot in a break-in at his home on March 20. The 75-year-old was recovering after the ordeal.

Bra Stan, as he was affectionately referred to by everybody, succumbed to the injuries.
