DJ Maphorisa and Thuli’s latest video breaks the internet

Popular South African DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter, DJ Maphorisa and Thuli Phongolo appear to have finally found their happily ever after a rollercoaster ride in 2023.

Thuli Phongolo and DJ Maphorisa were also spotted together in January this year at her birthday party since the case in 2023.


A recent video shared by MDN News on X shows Maphorisa and Phongolo listening to music together and laughing.

The former Generations: The Legacy actress also seems tired and appears to have no make-up on in the video.

Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe also known as DJ Maphorisa made headlines in May 2023 when he got arrested for assault after Phongolo pressed charges.

The popular amapiano DJ was released on R4 000 bail as Phongolo filed a withdrawal statement and agreed for the accused to be released on bail.

The duo, in a joint statement released on Monday night, said it noted the various reports circulating online about the incident.

The couple’s representatives also said Sekowe and Phongolo want “to return to their respective fields of work after the now concluded private resolution of this matter”.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) also withdrew the case in August 2024.
