Rhythm City is one of the most loved and watched soapies in South Africa, we grew up watching phenomenal actresses and actors and some of us still hope that some of them will return.

Sadly this will not be possible, because the loved soapie ia coming to an end in July.

The beautiful lady who played the role of Nikki real name Lehlogonolo ‘Nolo’ Phiri, she is an honors graduate from the school of the arts at wits university ,when she was younger she attended the National School of Arts and majored in fine arts. She is also a trained director and has produced some documentaries for sabc.

Currently she is a business woman and a mother.

Charlene Chiedza ‘Chi’ Kudzai Mhende in short name known as Charlene Chiedza is one of the most famous Zimbabwean actress and artists.

Chiedza played a huge role on Generation: The Legacy as the character of Wandile Radebe.

Charlene was born in Zimbabwe popular and famously township of Harare and she’s currently 30 years old, she was born on 19th October 1991.

She have been active since 2009. In 2006, Mhende moved to Cape Town to study at the The School for the Creative Economy.

Charlene Chiedza in 2015 she joined Generation: The Legacy as an male actress Wandile Radebe who went on to do transgender. Her character was impressed and Mzansi happly with such an amazing talent.

She was even she was nominated for Promising Young Artist award at Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Her recently appearance on screen was for Queen Isono in 2020 as the character of Miri Dube.

Kagiso Rakosa She was born on the 6th of September 1982 in Katlehong on the East Rand, South Africa. As of 2022, she is 40 years old and celebrates her birthday on September 6th every year.

According to the reports, she was reported to have dropped out of high School to pursue her acting career and luckily Mfundi Vundla was hiring on his project generations. Kagiso was given the role of Sharon or should I say Shaz as Shaz became the modern name in Mzansi.

After she was given the role of Shaz she became so famous and she was regarded as the most beautiful actress in Mzansi and she inspired many young ladies who wanted to be like her because of her extraordinary acting skills.

No doubt that Kagiso was the most talented actress in the show and other episodes were boring without her, however her acting was hit by a wrecking ball as Mfundi Vundla stopped the show and fired all the staff including Kagiso.

After Mfundi fired everyone in 2011 Kagiso only managed to get 2 roles and after that she completely disappeared from the spotlight. She appeared on SABC 2 sitcom Garedumeli and She was the leading cast in Traffic, an eKasi drama series. She played the character of Andiswa Mlaba, the sister of Detective Lungi Mlaba (played by Bonnie Mbuli) in 2014.

After her exit from the industry which people believe was enforced by Connie Ferguson who found that she was dating Shona, Kagiso seems to have settled down at home babysitting her son. Nowadays she’s no longer active on social media and she only posts once or twice on Instagram.

Chiarra Camile Visser is a South African born female actress, she starred as Liza in a youngster series called Soul Buddyz, she played as a daughter of a well known Kwaito star and attracted much attention from children of her age on her school,

Although she had unknown insecurities because she was very cool just like her father, she looked and behaved arrogant and self serving but she was a nice person and a president of Soul Buddies club.

In her real life, she was born on 30 March 1997 at the West Coast of Cape Town in a small village called Vredenburg. The name Chiarra means light ar bright. This name really explain a kind of a person she is. When was aged 4 she moved to Pretoria.

She didn’t further her studies, she currently works as a cashier and a waitress at Propaganda Pretorial club. She didn’t continue with acting, but her participation in creating awareness and having a platform to be on SABC1 really helped,

To change many schools and children at school to be drug free, abuse free and not participate in teenage pregnancy and she also became her greatest self.

Isithembiso was an educational tv series that brought new face in the entertainment industry, most young and talented actors were featured on the series before it could be cancelled. The viewers got introduced to Nandi Mbatha who played the character of Simlindile on the show and they loved her.

Her acting skills were very exceptional and she won the hearts of many South Africans with these skills and her beauty. Usually most people wonder if ever Nandi is related to her onscreen boyfriend, Zamani Mbatha who is popularly known as Nomzamo Mbatha’s little brother.
