Dear beloved readers and Muvhango fans… it pains us to bring you this news and in this sudden, extreme manner.

As you may know, there have been no Muvhango teasers this month, a first in the history of TVSA.

We’ve been requesting them from the SABC but they haven’t been available and we’ve noticed that the show’s Twitter account didn’t Tweet for the whole of June.

Also the cast has been on break for ages – each time we’ve called to enquire about something – and yesterday TVSA member Sulaiman Isaacs posted that the latest season would be ending this week, a short season of only 130 episodes.

 
We’ve been trying to uncover what’s going on, asking both the SABC and the show’s production house Word of Mouth Pictures but there’s been no clarity until tonight, 2 July.

Word of Mouth spokesperson Thanduxolo Jindela tells TVSA that there are no teasers because the show has shut down.

He tells us that the finale episode airs tonight.

Immediately and just like that. It’s heartbreaking for such a thing to happen to a long-running legendary show!

We feel your hurt if it’s going to impact on you.

As we told you earlier this year, the latest season of Generations was touch and go and things were resolved but clearly the behind-the-scenes negotiations for a new season of Muvhango have failed.

We’ll keep you posted when we hear anything further.

As the season of House of Zwide comes to a close, fans are in for a treat. The finale promises to be a thrilling episode full of intrigue, shocks, and unexpected twists. The Zwide family’s loyalty and relationships will be put to the test as secrets are revealed, and dramatic confrontations ensue.

Chidimma Onwe Adetshina has been trending on social media as some South Africans are not happy about her inclusion in the Miss SA pageant and want her to be kicked out.

WHO IS CHIDIMMA ONWE ADETSHINA?
The beauty queen, Chidimma Onwe Adetshina who is a Miss SA 2024 top 14 finalist is from Soweto, Gauteng, according to Miss SA.

 

She is also a Bachelor of Law student at Varsity College and is passionate about sports and advocating for change on violence against woman and children and gender-based violence.

She describes herself as ambitious, confident and optimistic. Her motto is “dreams are valid when actions are taken.”

IOL reports that Adetshina was born in South Africa to Nigerian parents, while some social media users reveal that her mother is Mozambican and her father in Nigerian.

The South African reached out to Miss SA hopeful, Chidimma Onwe Adetshina before publishing.

CRITERIA TO ENTER MISS SA
The Miss SA organisation reveals to the publication that their qualifying criteria was that hopefuls had to be a South African citizen.

They also have to be in possession of a valid SA ID or passport and if an applicant had dual citizenship, they had to provide both documents.

Beloved South African actress Sophie Ndaba has once again captured the hearts of many with her latest health update. In a candid video posted on Instagram, Sophie shared her recent injury and the journey she is now on towards recovery. Despite the setback, she remained positive and reflective, expressing gratitude that the injury wasn’t more severe.
