Maake kaNcube asks for paternity tests for 2 of his children

Former Generations actor Sello Maake kaNcube has approached his lawyers seeking assistance in getting a summons to request a paternity test for a child he had with one of his baby mamas.
Internationally acclaimed trouper Sello Maake kaNcube is demanding paternity tests from his two baby mamas after suspecting that they were bumping uglies with other men behind his back.

If the DNA tests confirm the children match his biological barcodes, he intends to include them in the will he is drafting.

News that the 64-year-old thespian is demanding DNA tests from his baby mamas came to the fore when he wrote a letter to his lawyers, Makgopa Attorneys, and instructed them to summon his former significant other, author and speaker Mmatshilo Motsei, to do the tests.

In the letter that we have seen, the former Generations actor, told his lawyers he wanted the tests to prove that he sired the child with Motsei because he discovered that she was dating a journalist, known to Sunday World, when the two were exchanging low bodily blows.

“After careful consideration, I would like assistance in getting a summons to request a paternity test for the child I might have with the second respondent, Mmatshilo Motsei,” reads the letter he wrote last week.

The former Skeem Saam actor cited Motsei’s threat to abort the child when she was preggers as one of the reasons he needed the tests done.

“Very early in her pregnancy, she threatened to abort the child, and this threat continued for several months into her pregnancy. I endured the most with this one, and she knows her truth, and I know my truth.”

Maake kaNcube also revealed that he found out Motsei was dating the journalist after he left for London, just as their dalliance was beginning to falter.

“To make you understand who Mmatshilo is as a person, when I left for London, we decided to fix our relationship and get back together. A month into my stay in London, when I called her, my son made me aware that there was a man in the house with them. The man in question was (name withheld), which led to her confessing that she was dating him and didn’t see a future between us. I have been through the most with this woman, and for what? My sin was wanting to be a
father to the boy without having her as part of my life intimately.
Based on the above, I owe it to myself to know that I fathered this child beyond reasonable doubt. Then I can shoulder this battle like the man I know myself to be!”

What lit the blue touch paper, alleged Maake kaNcube, was when Motsei colluded with their child’s college to attach his luxury vehicle over the non-payment of school fees, even though he did not sign any papers as a parent on the school fee payment agreement.

“Secondly, she is colluding with the school to hold me liable for a debt she knows I have nothing to do with and couldn’t afford as I have five other children that I know of. Her general conduct towards me and my wellbeing is overall questionable. Her sinister behaviour in trying to bring me down leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

“She would rather see me lose my assets and sit on the sidelines and watch my boat sink; in this case, she is ‘helping’ the school build their so-called case against me. This school fees situation is just one of the things she does, and she is using this as a pawn to justify her internal fight that she suffers from towards me,” reads the letter.

On several occasions, he added, he found out that Motsei had been working tirelessly to make sure he lost business deals.

“I do GBV-related work, and she is in the same space; she would fight me for her not getting enough airtime. I have never known anyone who advocated against such a pandemic to do it simply for airtime and publicity.”

He further said Motsei also prohibited the child from visiting him when he was plying his trade across the pond.

“I asked for the child to come visit with me and my other adult and teenage children. I had already bought tickets, but because she wanted me to get back with her at the time and when I refused, she then said that her ancestors were refusing for the child to come visit me. What and which ancestors reject a child’s biological father?” reads the letter, to which Motsei replied and said she was ready to do the tests.

“I have noted the contents of this email, and I agree with the idea of a paternity test,” she said, denying she had egged on the school to impound his vehicle.

Sunday World also learnt that Maake kaNcube wrote his other baby Winnie Xundu demanding a DNA test.

Sunday World has learnt Maake kaNcube has been supporting the child after the woman told him when he returned from London about 14 years ago he is the father.

Although he wants the child to be his, he doubts he is the father.

Maake kaNcube declined to comment when contacted.
