‘Blessing on the way!’: Another ex Miss SA announces baby news

Another Miss SA alumni has shared news of her pregnancy this week – 2020 Runner-up Thato Mosehle.

The medical doctor – who was the first South African representative at Miss Supranational – shared the happy news on her Instagram account.

A year after her pageant stint, Thato revealed that she was off the market after her partner Frans Maruma, proposed. The couple married in 2022.

In the post, Thato shared a look at her bare baby bump. The stunning mommy-to-be and her husband Frans – also a medical doctor – were pictured on their “babymoon” in Zanzibar.

The Miss SA former runner-up captioned the surprise announcement: “Sooo… A BEAUTIFUL BLESSING is on the way! We thank God and are extremely happy for this new journey he has trusted us with!”.

In just a few weeks, the couple will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary.

Thato shared in a sweet post last year: “I made a lifelong commitment to the kindest and sweetest man ever. He leads from Godly principles and loves so gently. I’m truly blessed to call him my husband for FOREVER! I love him so much”.

BABY MAKES THREE!
Apart from Thato Mosehle, in recent days, we’ve seen other Miss SA former winners announce their pregnancies.

This includes Miss SA 2011 winner Melinda Bam, who revealed that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Adriaan Bergh.

“Glowing and growing,” she captioned a cute baby bump Instagram post of herself.

Miss SA 2018 Tamaryn Green – who is married to businessman Ze Nxumalo – shared news that she is pregnant with their first child.

In a sweet reveal, the couple also hinted that it was a baby girl.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better gift on my 30th birthday. What a blessing we’ve been given”, Tamaryn posted.
