Two years after launching her first strip club, Club X, actress and influenced Tebogo Thobejane has opened another club.
Despite closing down her first adult entertainment business months later and relocating to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the former Muvhango actress is back in business.
TEBOGO THOBEJANE BACK IN THE STRIP CLUB BUSINESS
Speaking to ZiMoja, the social media influencer said: “I’m curating at the club. It’s a strip club called C30 in Sandton.”
A source told the publication that Tebogo is a co-owner of the establishment.
When Tebogo launched Club X, she told TshisaLIVE in an interview that she aims to empower women through the business, which was situated at The Grand, in Sandton.
“Everyone has to have a retirement plan,” she said.
“We’re trying to push women in business … I’ve always been about sexiness and women empowerment. Dancing is a profession all over the world, people are doing it and there aren’t any jobs in SA, so what must girls do?”
SHOOTING INCIDENT
Last year, the former Diep City actress was a victim of a shooting incident where her vehicle was targeted while travelling with a friend and driver on their way back home from Saints Champagne Lounge in Sandton, Johannesburg. As a result, she relocated to Dubai as she was living in fear.
In April it was reported that a suspect linked to her shooting was arrested and has been remanded in custody.
Tebogo told ZiMoja that although she’s back in the strip club business, she is still fearful following the shooting.
“Of course I am scared, who wouldn’t be? I missed five bullets,” she said.
“It takes a lot of strength and courage to try again but the guy’s currently in jail.”
