This comes just weeks after the two appeared to make peace during a TikTok Live session, following a heated online battle filled with insults, accusations, and personal attacks.
However, despite their apparent truce, Skhotheni now claims she fears for her life and has decided to take the matter further.
The Feud That Won’t End
For nearly a year, Gogo Skhotheni and Gogo Maweni have been engaged in a very public dispute, taking repeated jabs at each other on social media.
Their latest clash played out on TikTok, where the two went back and forth, accusing each other of:
Wearing fake designer brands
Making derogatory remarks about each other’s husbands
Questioning the ownership of their businesses
At the height of their social media war, Skhotheni even went as far as sharing case numbers of Maweni’s previous
assault charges, further escalating tensions.
However, after days of public mudslinging, the two seemingly made peace during a TikTok Live session, agreeing to end their feud and move forward on cordial terms.
Shortly after, Maweni appeared at the Protea Magistrate’s Court, but it was unclear whether this was related to her past legal troubles or the ongoing drama with Skhotheni.

Skhotheni Fears for Her Safety
Despite their apparent reconciliation, Gogo Skhotheni has since taken to TikTok once again, claiming she now fears for her life.
In an emotional live session, she expressed deep concerns about her physical safety, stating:
“I fear for my life in the physical form, not in a spiritual form. If anything happens to me from February 6, please know who is responsible.”
According to Skhotheni, she has been living in fear and has even gone into hiding due to threats she has allegedly received.
She further revealed that she received an email from Maweni, despite having blocked her on WhatsApp and social media.
In the email, Maweni allegedly warned her:
Skhotheni says the email left her shaken, and she now feels her safety—and that of her daughter—is at risk.
“I can’t even take my daughter to school because I am scared for her life. I feel my life is in danger,” she said.
She also questioned why Maweni was bringing up past legal matters, stating:
“Maweni was not arrested for murder, she was arrested for assault. So why is she bringing it up now? Why am I being attacked? What did I do?”
