The two have been rumoured to be related in real life, and their striking similarities have opened a can of worms. Is Jerah Moroka the son of Uzalo firebrand Madongwe or they, are just striking similarities?

However, the 38-year-old actress was born in Madadeni, Newcastle. She grew up in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu Natal. To live up to her dream of being one of Mzansi’s finest, the actress attained her Degree in Drama and Performing Arts at Durban University of Technology (DUT).

In recent years, the bubbly actress has starred in several series and is best known for her gigs on Presenter search on SABC3 and Isehlukaniso.

However, her striking resemblance with Paballo Mavundla has got Mzansi talking. She has been rumoured to be her mother of late, and we have been connecting the dots.

The seasoned actress is 38-years-old whilst the fast-rising actor is 22-years. Their 16-year age gap seems to be one of the heads up that the two are not related as we all thought.

On the other hand, the fast-rising actor was born in 1999, Meadowlands, South-Western Soweto in Gauteng Province. However, this somehow proves that they are not related, given that Madongwe was born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal up until her thrust into the limelight.

Like those before him, the Paballo was thrust into the limelight when he starred on The Herd. However, a few years later, he bagged a gig on the SABC1 drama series Generations and starred as Jerah Moroka. From Generations, he bagged a new gig on etvs fashion drama series House of Zwide.

He holds a diploma in Electrical and Power Engineering. In 2021 it was reported that he was a full-time Regional Supervisor at Eskom. However, in the backdrop of the rumours, the star actor is yet to address them. Many still find it puzzling that Nyawo is an engineering graduate.
