PENNY NTULI: ‘I DID NOT THINK WE’RE GOING TO MAKE IT’
IOL reports that the radio personality Penny Ntuli recently shared her experience of being trapped on the N3 during a snowstorm with Jozi FM.

Ntuli admits she was first excited by the snowfall and even took pictures. But fear settled in when the snow piled up to the height of her vehicle door.

“It was not by our own wisdom to survive this, but it was by God’s grace. The snow was literally as high as my vehicle’s door level. I did not think we’re going to make it.”

A close relative of Ntuli recently revealed in a TikTok video: “Penny started feeling unwell [Saturday] evening, so we turned on the car heater. By morning, when we could finally move, her condition worsened, and she felt extremely cold to the touch. We took her to her mother’s house; she’s not well, but she’s alive.”

The radio personality was on her way to KZN to attend a funeral of a relative when she got stuck on the N3 highway with a flat tyre in the snow.

The South African reached out to Ntuli for a comment on Monday, 23 September.
