Lerato Nxumalo takes on the role of Mpumi in Lingashoni and is the first child of a privileged family called the Celes. She was lucky enough to marry into another wealthy and influential family that loves and adores her. Currently, Mpumi is pregnant and has finally won her mother-in-law’s respect and love back after she was made CEO instead of Sarah.Before Lerato was part of the all-star cast of Lingashoni, she was part of the cast of Durban Gen in the first season. Linda Nxumalo, on the other hand, has taken on the role of Soka on House of Zwide since the telenovela debuted. He is the Zulu guy who is madly in love with Onalerona and won her heart against Sandile, a workmate of Ona. He is also a struggling University graduate who is finding it hard to land a job after finishing his Accounting degree.Before he was part of the House of Zwide cast, the young actor was part of the Isithembiso cast, which was his debut acting job. After completing his diploma in drama, the actor has had and held two television jobs. Apart from that, he landed a job as a waiter when he was struggling to land a career as an actor.

Lerato and Linda Nxumalo have similar facial features and even the same shade of complexion. The two can easily pass as siblings if they were ever in the same production and drama series or movies. The two actors both hail from KZN, Lerato being from KwaMashu while Linda is from KwaSanti.
