Child actor Lethabo Thangoane who’s been playing Pitsi Maputla for several years has been replaced in Skeem Saam.

SABC1 reveals that the new Pitsi Maputla will be played by Lethabo Matsetela from 2 September 2024.

Pitsi’s on-screen parents Hungani Ndlovu who plays Thabo “Tbose” Maputla, and Mogau Motlhatswi who plays Mapitsi Maputla will also welcome their new bundle of joy, Baby Oratile (played by Realeboha Khotle).

Viewers will also witness the new family of four moving out of Meikie’s house and moving into their new house in season 13.

Fans of the soapie took to social media on Tuesday, 27 August to bid farewell to the old Pitsi.

Lehasa’s fiancée, Pretty Seakamela (Lerato Marabe)will get kicked out of his apartment.

Toby (Sicelo Buthelezi) and his mother will get kicked out of their house and his trial will begin.
