Viewers can catch his debut on Wednesday, 8 August from 6.30pm.

Themba is celebrated for his role as Brutus in the now-concluded Mzansi Magic show, The Queen, which wrapped up in January last year.

On Friday, 2 August Black Brain Pictures showed its enthusiasm about his return to TV.

“Seasoned TV actor Themba Ndaba makes his way to Mzimhlophe in the role of Bheki “Gwinyitshe” Sibanyoni. And, his arrival is set to ruffle a few feathers, especially Zwelakhe,” the statement read.

“Themba’s first appearance will be on 8 August at 6.30pm on e.tv. When we meet Bheki, he arrives in Mzimhlophe to surprise Connie.”

Plot thickens as Bheki and Connie reconnect, a bond that dates back almost 40 years to her teenage years.

Bheki also had a past romance with Blondie. His dramatic return is marked by a bold proposal to Connie in front of the community.

However, with Blondie re-entering the scene, Bheki finds himself juggling both relationships, intending to marry both women.

“To throw a spanner in the works, Blondie is now back in the picture and Bheki soon realizes that there’s plenty of him to go around. And he plans to date both women at the same time – intending to marry both of them, he’s a Zulu man after all.”

Themba’s notable works include his roles in Machine Gun Preacher and Zone 14 on SABC1.
