DJ Maphorisa spins gusheshe and plays with idea of “Porryland” spin fest

Is DJ Maphorisa trying to get the attention of new Minister of Sport, Arts & Culture by spinning a gusheshe and playing with the idea of a “Porryland” spin fest?

It does seem like Minister Gayton McKenzie’s vow to make spinning an official sport in his capacity has the DJ and producer contemplating whether he should work on putting together a huge spin festival.

Mckenzie promised to make car spinning a recognised sport in the country. His reasons are to not only elevate the sport, but to keep young people out of jail.

“There is one promise I made; spinning and stance are not crimes, you will see. I promise that spinning will be recognised. I will make spinning one of the biggest sports in this country. Stance is not a crime. Spinning will enter its rightful space.

We will work hard. I will be one of the best ministers because I have you guys. We will stop gangsterism with sports. I will make sure you are recognised.”
