From ‘RHOD’ to ‘RHOJ’? Slee is officially off the market

Silindile “Slee” Ndlovu is figuratively moving from being a real housewife of Durban to a real housewife of Johannesburg after moving in with her partner who is based in the bustling Gauteng city.

‘RHOD’ STAR SLEE’S MAN PAYS LOBOLO
The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star confirmed to ZiMoja that she is now off the market as her husband-to-be paid lobolo.

“Ngingumntwana wedlozi (I am an ancestral child). I wouldn’t just move in with a man without him going to my family first,” said Slee who is engaged to a doctor.

While sources told the publication that Slee would be walking down the aisle later this year, the reality TV star said she cannot reveal much.

“I can’t reveal too much because there are families involved now. But all I can say is that I am in a good space both personally and professionally.”

SLEE GUSHES OVER HER MAN
In February this year, the actress and businesswoman opened up about her man during an interview with SowetanLIVE, sharing that he allows her to be herself.

At the time, Slee revealed that she has been in a relationship with her partner for a year.

“One thing I love about my man is that he allows me to be myself. He is very understanding and knows my love language… he’s also not controlling,” she said.

“I’m in a better space now. I am my own person who makes her own decisions. Whatever I own now is solely mine. I no longer worry that someone might leave me and take everything away from me,” she boldly adds.

“I’ve learnt not to repeat the same mistakes I made in relationships or my business. I’ve also decided to never be a ‘kept’ woman ever again.”

DRAMA WITH AMAZULU BOSS SANDILE ZUNGU
The Uzalo actress’s romance with her current partner came almost a year after her split from AmaZulu Football Club boss, Sandile Zungu.

According to Slee, the businessman had promised to marry her after six years together. However, following what she described as a minor argument, he left her and never returned. A couple of months later, Zungu tied the knot with his current wife, Nozipho Magubane.

During an interview with Lungelo KM on his YouTube podcast Engineer Your Life in August last year, Slee shared that she has forgiven Zungu.

“To be honest, I’ve never hated this specific person. I have forgiven… When I was going through it [the break up] I blocked certain individuals because I did not want to see what was happening in that space. I needed my own time to heal. I needed to disappear. But when I reappeared, I knew that I was ready. I had healed. I was ready to move on and tell my story and speak about it because I knew that I would be asked about it.

“So, I have forgiven and I have accepted the apology I’ve never received, which is okay. Sometimes you don’t need closure,” she said.
