SADLY, NO ITUMELENG KHUNE
When the comedy show was announced in February, Minnie said told ZiMoja that she would not mind if her ex-boyfriend, Itumeleng Khune, joined the panel although she knows he would not agree to it.
“That would be interesting. He wouldn’t do it but it would be great,” she said.
“I’m really hoping to get a representative from every facet of the industry, someone no one would expect, especially since I’ve worn so many hats and worked in so many different spaces in the business.”
The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and The Honeymoon actress dated from 2011 to 2014. During their relationship, there were rumours that Khune had paid R1 million in lobolo for Minnie. However, the TV producer said that the claims were not true.
After their break-up, Minnie went on to marry TV producer Quinton Jones in 2017, with whom she shares a three-year-old son named Netha Makhosini Jones. The couple are currently in the process of a divorce. However, according to the rumour mill, they are back together.
On the other hand, Khune went on to date multimillionaire, Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize’s stepdaughter, Sbahle Mpisane. After their break up, he married his wife Siphelele Makhunga in a traditional wedding in 2022. The couple shares two daughters.
