South Africans took to social media on Sunday, 17 March to lambast Fly CemAir for reportedly throwing Shamiso Mosaka out of the airline.

The MTV Base media personality, Shamiso Mosaka took to her Instagram on Sunday to share her ordeal with Fly CemAir.
Shamiso, who is the daughter of radio personality Azania Mosaka trended on social media after she was thrown out of a plane in Durban.
Briefly reports that she was forcefully removed after disputes with CemAir flight attendants who had her thrown out by the SAPS.
@izidabazabantu shared videos of Shamiso on X and said the TV personality was being discriminated by a flight attendant because she said “WTF” on the phone.
In the viral videos shared on social media, she’s seen having a conversation with policemen and airline personnel who reportedly asked her to leave the flight.
Social media user @Dineo_thulii advised South Africans to not use the f-word on a flight because you’ll get thrown out.
“Regarding the Shamiso and CemAir incident, the f-word is actually among the words you’re not allowed to say in a flight. So, if you’re a traveler please educate yourself on that,” she posted.
The South African reached out to Shamiso and Fly CemAir for a comment before publishing this article. They were not available for a comment.
Muzi on Hello Peter revealed: “Yesterday 17 March 2024 on flight 5Z 0329 coming from Durban to Johannesburg we experienced a very horrible behaviour from the Cemair staff.”
“A young lady got thrown out a flight cause some Indian air hostess named Shamika said she was being disruptive. What is surprising is that we were seating next to her, and she never disrupted us.”
“The hostess and the pilot even got the nerve to come back and shout at us telling us we will be taken out as we were also standing out for the lady, we were treated like tr*sh while we paid our money.”
@jenna_original said on X: “Imagine being kicked off Cemair for speaking to a friend over the phone. Whatever words were used on the phone call, the air hostess had no business being nosy.”
@DaButchstar: “Hi, I am the guy who was sitting in front of you, please if you ever need witnesses, I am available. We fought even after they tricked you out of the flight. We were also threatened to be thrown out cause of sticking out for you.”
