RACHEL MAINTAINS STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH SIYA’S SIBLINGS DESPITE DIVORCE
While Siya and Rachel may have split, the mom of two has still maintained a good relationship with the Springbok captain’s siblings. In their joint statement announcing their divorce, the pair affirmed that they are staying committed to raising their kids with the love they have always known and this possibly included Liyema and Liphelo – as the pair had adopted them when they were younger.
“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known,” read the statement.
In December, Rachel took Siya’s sister Liphelo on her family vacation to Sydney, Australia. Ahead of the vacation, she revealed that Liyema could not join because he has started working and did not have leave.
