On her latest post on social media Zikhona left instagram in awe with her recent pictures looking amazing. The photos were uploaded with the following caption

” A lot of the times, we don’t want to tell the stories of the ones at the bottom. Of the ones less favourite. Of the ones easy to hate. It’s not easy to let go of the ego as an artist yet that’s what the job requires. That I leave myself out of it and jump into the roles less desires…. And let people feel the discomfort of seeing themselves….

What a painful experience it has been playing someone so judged. So damn imperfect and not shy about it.

Watching people call her names to my face has been a lifetime lesson I hope I never forget.

Yet I envy her, I envy how proud of herself she is. How she isn’t shy to play ALLLLLL her colours out loud. How deeeeeep she loves ☺️

It’s brave for a woman to be like this. To say yes in the face of adversity… careful to throw stones bantase, 😊

‘It’s my biggest failure in my life’: Nota Baloyi on his divorce from Berita

Celebrated music executive Nota Baloyi is topping trends after he opened up about his divorce from Berita Khumalo during his podcast interview with Owamie Entertainment.

The now-viral interview has undoubtedly gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped online.

NOTA BALOYI OPENS UP ABOUT HIS DIVORCE FROM BERITA
Against the interview, fans were more than convinced that the star still loves Berita Khumalo, whom he didn’t wish to divorce.

During the interview, Nota made it known that getting divorced was one of his biggest failures since he had made vows with Berita and promised each other not to divorce. The music executive said, “I’m heartbroken that I divorced; it’s my biggest failure in my life.” However, Nota noted that he hoped things would improve even when separated.

He also said he never ran to the United States from South Africa, as alleged when news of his divorce made rounds.

Nota Baloyi revealed that Berita Khumalo drafted the budget for his stay in the US, and it was planned.

Nota Baloyi and his ex-wife Berita finalised their divorce earlier this year. The news of their divorce came barely a year after it was reported that the two were heading for a splitsville.

THEIR FALLOUT
The news of their fallout first made rounds in March 2023. Against the rumour mill, Berita confirmed the news to the media.

She made it known that their marriage was over, and a divorce was on the cards since they were legally married.

However, earlier this year, Nota Baloyi took to X to confirm that their divorce was finalised with a damning post.

He posted, “The lesson is to make sure she leaves with nothing of yours & loses half of everything she gained.

“Another lesson is to marry in your class. Bringing someone up out of poverty is like going to bed with a snake that is starving itself to build up the appetite to swallow you whole.”

Speaking about his divorce finalisation, in one of his interviews, Nota Baloyi made it known that the last thing he wanted to do was not to give up on his marriage.

This came as a shocker to many because his social media rants said otherwise.

“For me, the one thing I did not want to do is give up. Whatever goes down, at least let’s go down fighting.

“I still need to prove to myself that I am as principled as I want to be, and that’s what motivated me to do that. I gave her a hug, and I wished her the best,” he said.

Gayton defends Udeme Okon on ‘Nigerian’ heritage

Weeks after claiming that “We can’t have Nigerians compete” on behalf of South Africa regarding pageant hopeful Chidimma Adetshina, Gayton McKenzie has defended gold medallist Udeme Okon.

The Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture has congratulated the sprinter – whose father is Nigerian – after he won the 400m race in the U20 World Championships in Lema, Peru.

GAYTON MCKENZIE DEFENDS GOLD MEDALLIST?
As he has done with all the South African contestants, Gayton McKenzie congratulated Udeme Okon for winning a gold medal at the U20 World Championships.

He tweeted: “Gold everywhere. Well don,e Udeme Okon, for your great victory in the men’s 400m final.”

However, one tweep decided to test the waters when they brought up Udeme’s mixed parentage – a Nigerian father and a South African mother.

“He’s from Nigeria, Minister,” @golide_tsh85753 tweeted.

Gayton – known for his phrase “Abahambe” and opinions on illegal foreigners – was quick to respond.

He tweeted about Udeme Okon: “He is a South African, legally here, didn’t steal anyone’s identity, he is not involved in nonsense and contributes positively to South Africa. he is our golden boy”.

While some accepted Gayton’s stance, others questioned the Patriotic Alliance leader’s reasoning.

@majazztic: “You’ve created a context in which anyone with a foreign name has to be scrutinised. Kenny Kunene said, ‘We want South African names’. Are you having a change of heart? Is this genuine or selective?”

@XUFFLER: “No investigation, just assumptions?”

@LandryMutombo: “How do you know this? Did you write to Home Affairs for an investigation into his parents? What about his grandparents?”

@bunye_sibiya: “Double standard, Mr Minister, Udeme Okon’s name and surname are not native to South Africa. The Chidimma thing and how y’all handled it will be a problem for a long time to come.”

@iluvmzansi2: “I’m starting to doubt your patriotism”
