Rapper Shebeshxt is recovering in hospital

Shebeshxt has been transferred to a general ward after spending almost nine days in ICU following a car crash.

The controversial rapper was involved in a car crash on his way to a gig on June 8. He was seriously injured, his partner Kholofelo Moloto sustained moderate to serious injuries and their nine-year-old daughter died at the scene
Family spokesperson James Magoro shared the latest developments with TshisaLIVE, revealing Shebeshxt underwent surgery on his leg and shoulder.

Magoro said they hoped Shebeshxt would be fit to attend his daughter’s funeral on Saturday at Lebowakgomo, Limpopo.

“He is still in hospital but he will attend the funeral. We are looking to maybe have people from the hospital assist in bringing him to the funeral and then take him back to the hospital to recover. He still needs to fully recover. He had dislocations. One leg they put steel in and [fitted] a moon boot. The leg is OK. He can step with both [legs].”

Magoro said though the family had not spoken to Shebeshxt about the death of his daughter, he was aware she had not survived the accident.

“We can’t talk to him about his loss because we understand, but he can see his child is not around any more and his partner got hurt. He asked about Kholo’s whereabouts but did not ask about the child because he knows the child did not make it.”
