TUT PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR DJ MASHATA’S FAMILY
The higher learning institution said it was saddened by MASHATA’S passing.

“Mabuse, has been a loyal employee of TUT where he served as a Residence Advisor for both Pretoria and Ga-Rankuwa Campuses. His varied community engagement activities – e.g. as MC and as Stadium Announcer at Mamelodi Sundowns home matches – had a positive impact on society beyond the gates of the University.

The university said it was providing the Mabuse family, friends, colleagues and students with as much support as it can at this difficult time.

“The family should be afforded the space and the time to process their great loss, and to honour the memory of the deceased with dignity.

“The University calls upon the public, including the media, to exercise restraint and sensitivity towards the family at this time of grief.

“Our deepest condolences go to the Mabuse family, friends, colleagues and TUT students.”
