Why viewers think Nonku’s mom has to leave The Real Housewives of Durban

The Real Housewives of Durban premiered its first season last year. We were introduced to different characters from the coast and one Nonku Williams brought her mom to the show with her. Nonku’s mother named Queen was introduced as a pastor and appeared at Nonku’s events as a mother and even supporting her at home. It’s normal because audiences were getting to know the lives of reality TV stars.

Viewers started to feel that Queen was going too far on the show after her appearance on the show’s entire episode of the Reunion. The queen as she calls herself wasn’t just there to support her daughter Nonku. She had her own agenda, she was at the reunion because she had a message for the wife of a man Nonku had a child with (Ayanda Ncwane) who was also in the show. Before she could say what she wanted to say, Nonku’s mom made a grand entrance, while wearing the most dramatic outfit.

Many viewers were unimpressed because after delivering her message Ayanda Ncwane was left in an emotional state and crying. People felt the queen was just too much and dramatic which wasn’t necessary.

When the second season started, Ayanda Ncwane didn’t come back and people felt that Nonku and her mom were the cause of it. The Queen is still showing up in season two, and viewers and some housewives aren’t happy with her. When Nonku had a party, she told her guests that she is prettier than them, which offended many. Another housewife, Annie, said the Queen was rude and the new housewife Jojo Robinson told her husband the party was not good because the Queen spent hours talking and it made her feel sleepy. I think Nonku’s mother has to support her daughter remotely on the show and let young women enjoy themselves.
