MJ Maponya makes it official by putting a ring on his girlfriend Ipeleng Segolodi’s finger.

Proposing on Ipeleng’s birthday, the Temptation Island reality star didn’t wait long to take their long distance relationship to the next level.

According to TshisaLive, the pair have only been dating for 6-months but MJ says he knew 2-months in that she was the one.

 

Ipeleng, from Botswana caught MJ’s attention on social media and he threw caution to the wind and slid right into those DMs.

MJ proposed at Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg on 05 July but only announced the engagement on Tuesday, 16 July.

Taking to Instagram to share a picture from their engagement photoshoot, MJ thanked his soon-to-be wife for choosing him.

“Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again, and with this ring I choose to grow and overcome obstacles and difficulties with you for the rest of our lives, thank you for choosing us (me & Moshibudi) we love you mommy.”

The couple plan to get married next year, and still have a lot of decisions to make regarding their future life together, such as whether MJ moves to Botswana or have his wife settle down in South Africa
