Minnie Dlamini and Quinton Jones reportedly back together

Well-known South African host, actress, businesswoman, and media personality Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini and her estranged husband, Quinton Jones, are rumoured to have rekindled their love.

According to the rumour mill on social media platform X, The Honeymoon actress and her TV producer ex-lover were recently together at business mogul Dr Sisa Ngebulana’s birthday party.

Although there are no images of the former couple together, a picture of Minnie wearing her wedding ring was shared on the Andimahle Building Events Instagram account.

The events planning business is owned by Londy MaZwide who featured in a couple of episodes of the Real Housewives of Durban season four. Dr Ngebulana’s wife, Ayanda Ngebulana, also made an appearance on the series, as she is cast member Sorisha Naidoo’s friend. When the Ngebulanas tied the knot in Château de Challain-la-Potherie, a castle in France, Minnie was one of their A-list guests.

Minnie and Quinton got married in 2017, and invited Mzansi to celebrate with them in a three-part wedding special on DSTV channel 1Magic.

The pair had a stunning white and traditional wedding that was attended by the country’s A-list celebrities.

Two years later, Minnie announced her pregnancy and in November 2020 they welcomed their son Netha Makhosini Jones who was named after the actresses’ late brother Makhosini Dlamini.

However, in February 2022, the couple announced that they had separated and will be divorcing.

“In the last 2 years our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time we found comfort in knowing we had each other.

“After months of separation and consultations and with our family and counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce. Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” they wrote in a joint statement.

After announcing their divorce, Minnie was rumoured to have been the cause of the separation as she was accused of cheating with businessman Edwin Sodi.

However, she labelled the rumours “false, damaging and malicious” and that she and Quinton would be taking legal action.

In September last year, Quinton made headlines for reportedly claiming spousal maintenance. According to Zimoja, the businessman is allegedly “demanding a R10 000 monthly support” from TV presenter.

A source who claimed to be close to the estranged couple said that the TV and Radio presenter is willing to fight tooth and nail to “make sure her soon-to-be ex doesn’t benefit from her hard-earned money.”
